Steven has been a part of his family's dairy operation since as long as he can remember and continued his education at Ridgewater College, gaining a degree in agribusiness. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and seven children.

Keith Engle

Keith has been a key manager of at Silverstreak Dairies since 2006. He joined PACE Ag after graduating with from the University of Minnesota. He and his wife Micki have two daughters and they enjoy watching hockey, which both of their girls play.

Rocio Ramirez

HR/Safety Manager

Silverstreak Dairies

Rocio Ramirez lives in Minnesota with her husband Edgar and their daughter Xiomara. She studied international relations at Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico City. Since 2008, she has played an integral part in managing Silverstreak Dairies human resource and safety departments.

John Boerman

General Manager

Benton Group

John and Jackie, and their two boys live in Western Indiana. John oversees all the operations of the three Benton Group dairies. His expertise and management has seen Benton Group through the construction of two dairies, as well as implementation of progressive practices.

Matt Kashmitter

Matt has been actively dairy farming his entire life. He grew up on his family’s farm that is now Bluestreak Dairy. Matt procures the feed and handles all manure removal for Silverstreak Dairies. He is vital to our operations when it comes to building relationships with neighbors and vendors.

Keith Hoeing

Ambia Dairy

Keith and Emily and their twin boys and daughter are from Indiana. Keith takes care of the day-to-day operations at Ambia dairy and is progessing the farms utilization of technology and data collection. He graduated from Purdue University and has been with Benton Group since 2015.

Matt Landwehr

Westland Dairy and Steer Feedlot

Matt and his dad Tom manage the corn and alfalfa produciton for Silverstreak Dairies. Matt also manages the harvesting of additional acres from contract growers. He has worked at the Westland farm since it started in 1998. Matt and his wife Ashley have three boys.

Moises Barrios

Site Manager

Warner Dairy

Moises started working at Silverstreak Dairy in 2008 as a milker and scraper. In 2009, he transferred to Union Dairy and while working there was promoted to herdsman. He later became a herdsman at Greenstreak Dairy, and In November 2021 started working in his current role. Off the farm he enjoys a good cup of coffee, relaxing, and going for walks with his wife.

Jeffrey Borst

Union Dairy

Jeff is our site manager at Union Dairy and has been part of the Silverstreak's team since 2015. He earned a degree in animal science and dairy production from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Jeff enjoys traveling with his family and going to breweries and wineries.

Annie Vannurden

Managing Partner

Silverstreak Dairies

Annie focuses on animal health, employee development, and project management across all MN, SD, and KS sites. She has been working within the business since graduation from Purdue University in 2016. Finding operational efficiencies, while providing a low stress enviroment for both the cow and employee is where she finds her role the most challenging and rewarding. Annie lives in Minnesota with her husband Eric and children.

Brian Moehrle

Custom/Manure Application Manager

Westland Dairy

Brian was hired to manage and start our manure dragline business from scratch in 2015. His past expertise includes working in manure handling and the construction industry for over 20 years. Brian, his wife Stacy, along with their children enjoy camping and fishing with family and friends.

Leroy Kopmann

Ag Sourcing Manager

Benton Group

LeRoy Kopmann manages all the forage contracting, harvesting, and manure management for Benton Group. Before joining Benton Group, he worked in agricultural retail supply in Central Illinois, which supplied inputs to grow corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, along with seed and agronomic recommendations.

Tim Ekovich

Freeland Dairy

Tim started with Benton Group as a Herdsperson and since has progressed to the role as Freeland Dairy Site Manager. Tim studied agriculture production at Black Hawk College in Illinois and enjoys working on home projects and spending time with his wife and children.

Marty Wayne

Site Manager

C Dairy

Marty is the General Manager at the C-dairy and lives near Mondovi, Wisconsin. He received his DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When he is away from the cows, he is spending time with his family. They enjoy kayaking, hiking, and farming together.

Dustin Wirt

Site Manager

Cottonwood Dairy

Dustin’s day involves feed managment, facility maintenance, and animal health. He has worked in roles with his family’s farm and Accelerated Genetics before Silverstreak Dairies. He enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and their children snowboarding, and fishing.

Leah Mohs

Site Manager

Silverstreak and Bluestreak Dairies

Leah manages the day-to-day operations and employee communication. She graduated from Ridgewater College and grew up in central Minnesota. She chose to work with us to challenge herself as well as reach her goals for managing a dairy. Leah enjoys fishing and hunting around with family and friends.

Justin Bruder

Greenstreak Dairy

Justin's day-to-day work involves overseeing all tasks on the farm, managing people, and maintaining facilities. His main objective is supporting his team members so they can complete their jobs confidently and take pride in their work. Outside of farming, he spends time with his family and is an avid fisherman and hunter. Justin grew up farming and it is something he has always enjoyed doing.

Joe Hammes

Veterinarian

Joe oversees herd health, nutrition, and operational performance across the Silverstreak Dairy sites. He collaborates with site managers and herdspeople teams to improve herd health in day-to-day routines. His entire veterinary career has focused on large-scale dairy production and he is passionate about combining veterinary science, data, and teamwork to make dairies more successful. He enjoys time with his family and exploring ways to make things more efficient—whether that’s around the house or on the farm.

Emily Hoeing

Climate & Conservation Lead

Benton Group

Emily focuses on using technology and best practices to improve efficiencies and reduce Benton Group’s carbon footprint. She works closely with site managers and the crop team to drive profitability and identify opportunities for improvement. Her favorite days are hosting people who have never been on a large-scale dairy farm—“They are amazed by the technology and tremendous care we provide to our cows.” Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with her kids’ sports and traveling.

Chris Williams

Climate & Conservation Lead

Chris Williams is a second-generation dairy farmer with a lifelong background in agriculture and dairy production. Raised on a farm in South Africa, he developed his experience in pasture-based dairy systems, which shaped his practical approach to management and sustainability. He focuses on long-term sustainability for Benton Group dairies, including operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new projects that push boundaries, which he finds the most rewarding part of the job.
